Q3 Tech Recap

This past quarter our team has been heads down focused on expanding Ascend’s product offering and improving the agency and insured experience. Here's a recap of the improvements we’ve made:

New Feature: Automated carrier payables

Ascend is the first solution in the market to offer agencies the ability to automate carrier payables for both paid in full and premium financed policies. With this feature, agencies truly are able to make agency bill as easy as direct bill with Ascend by automating all the administrative financial operations post-purchase. Agencies also have full visibility and control of when and where premiums are sent to carriers/wholesalers.

Dashboard Improvements

We added a collection of additional functionality in our dashboard to make it easier for agencies to get the most out of Ascend.

  • Added a quick quote financing calculator
  • Increased financing windows for policy endorsements
  • Improved cancellation workflow and notifications
  • Launched invoice installments for reoccurring audits, fees, etc.
  • Added due dates so agencies can collect funds sooner than effective dates

Improved AMS Integrations

We are continually improving our AMS integrations to improve team member workflows. This quarter, we launched a native integration with Veruna, making it much easier for agencies to use Ascend with Veruna right out of the box. On top of that, we improved our create payment link workflow with NowCerts - making it even more simple to generate checkout links within the AMS. We know AMS integrations are important and are working on improving our AMS360 integration next!
